Paragon received the 2011 Best of State Award for investment advisory services. Utah’s Best of State presented awards in 10 main categories. Paragon Wealth Management was recognized in the Business Services category. According to chief executive officer Dana Layton, winners of the 2011 Best of State Awards have been rated and judged on their impact on the community, excellence and achievement, and innovation and originality. This year's judging was hosted by Salt Lake community College’s Miller Business Resource Center and took place over a period of four full days. Paragon Wealth Management was included in the National Association of Board Certified Advisory Practices (NABCAP) Premier Advisors List in the November 2010 issue of Utah Business Magazine.

NABCAP is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that selects an exclusive group of advisory firms each year who represent the best in quality wealth management. They are the first organization to create a discerning process to help identify the top quality advisory practices in order to better serve the investment community.

Paragon Wealth Management was named one of WealthManagerWeb.com's Top Wealth Managers in 2010. To be eligible for the Top Wealth Manager Ranking, the firm must be an SEC registered investment advisor with its own IARD number; have minimum assets under advisement of $50 million, have individuals or high-net-worth individuals (as defined by the SEC) as more than half of its client base; and offer financial planning services. The rankings were posted on www.wealthmanagerweb.com in July 2010. Paragon was one of 500 firms in the United States chosen for this honor.

Paragon Wealth Management was named one of Wealth Manager's "Top Dogs" in 2008, an award that recognizes the top advisory firms in the country. The rankings were printed in the July/August 2008 issue of Wealth Manager Magazine. To be eligible for the Top Wealth Manager ranking, companies must be registered investment advisers, report more than $50 million in assets under advisement, have predominantly individual clients and offer financial planning services. Wealth Manager ranks organizations that meet these criteria by the size of their average client relationships, not by total assets, in order to highlight the firms with the wealthiest clientele. Paragon was one of 500 firms in the United States chosen for this honor.

The Provo/Orem Chamber of Commerce presented Paragon with the Small Business of the Year Award in May, 2008. Twelve prominent business and community leaders in Provo were honored at the 20th Annual Senator Reed Smoot Outstanding Citizens Awards Banquet.
